Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape Super 33 is a black, professional-grade electrical insulation tape with a thickness of approximately 8.5 mils (0.216 mm). It features a flexible vinyl (PVC) backing and is coated on one side with a non-corrosive, rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape is America’s #1 professional-grade vinyl electrical tape. This premium, 7-mil thick tape is flame-retardant and built to handle all types of weather. It’s ideal for insulating cable splices up to 600 volts and works reliably in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 220°F (-18°C to 105°C).

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, above or below ground, it’s perfect for low- and high-voltage applications and cable harnessing. The tape combines a strong, pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive with a stretchy PVC backing to deliver excellent electrical and mechanical protection. It also acts as a tough outer layer for high-voltage cable splices.
